so i've decided that i need to do a quicker project that i can actually complete. you know, restore my confidence since so much is just not going right on the handyduo... so, it's time to once again basically steal someone else's idea and run wild with it! i'm gonna start work on this tonight, but i basically all have it planned out in my head. all i have left to order is the batteries. and all i have to show for it right now is the buttons i'm going to use. that's right! hot pink! ;D sweet! and yes, that is a wiimote faceplate. it has just the right size and number of buttons. i just thought i'd let you all know what the current project has become. after i successfully finish this, it's back to the handyduo! and i'm posting my wip here cuz i want it to be yet another suprise over at that other place. and the ppl here are always nice. ***UPDATE*** ok, so i think i've done all i'm gonna do for today. got the front of the case 99% done. this project is almost too easy... ;D this is helping to restore my confidence already! woo hoo! i gotta get me some batteries... *runs off to shave out the other side of the case*

Nowadays, there's rechargeable AA's with like 2600 mAh. I was considering just doing that for my NOAC, it would have given me three hours playing time, but that project fell through. Nice thing about those batteries is that you can use regular alkalines in a pinch. Anyway, it's looking great. Are you using any of the wiimote to keep your buttons from spinning?
